This book was read for my IRL book club. It is my first book my these authors. Heard their other books were really good. Trying to work on taking better pictures of the book covers to make things a bit more interesting.

Jess lies her way into a college professor/psychiatrist's survey so she can make some extra money. That little lie may be the worst lie she has ever told. What Jess doesn't know is that she has entered a web of deceit, cheating, and betrayal that may be deadly. Of course for the sake of a good mystery Jess only realizes her mistake too late to get out before the final act.

The book sounded interesting, and I dove into to the book ready for a good mystery novel. There were so many times during the book I thought it could have ended, then it dragged the reader to another twist in the story. I did not find the flow of the book cohesive, it was annoying that the book did not end. Then there was the ending that seemed like it was kind of wah wah. There were some good twists and some good story line, altogether not really for me. I liked the book okay, did not love it. My rating 3⭐️.
