I was excited to read An Anonymous Girl because I loved The Wife Between Us. It did not disappoint. This story had me guessing what would happen throughout the book which kept me up late into the night. At first I thought the alternating point of views were a little confusing (the characters weren’t labeled at beginning of the chapter like other books in this style) but I soon was able to differentiate between the two women. I thought the very detailed description of Lydia’s daily routines was a little creepy but defined her character. I found myself routing for Jessica and wanting something good to happen to her. It is disheartening to see how easy it is to prey on someone who has had some bad luck and tragedy in their past. I look forward to the author’s next book!
