I was super excited to read this book because I enjoyed The Wife Between Us so much and this one definitely did not disappoint. Holy twists and turns in this psychological thriller.
This book is about Jessica Farris who while on the job as a makeup artist stumbles across an ad seeking women ages 18-32 to participate in a study. Jessica signs up thinking she'll answer a couple of questions and get paid the easiest money ever. But as the questions grow more and more intense, Jessica thinks the person behind the study knows more about her than she thought. As her paranoia grows, Jessica starts to realize there's more behind this study than she could ever imagine.
I honestly really liked this book and I liked how each chapter jumped from Jessica to Dr. Shields, the person running the study. I was not expecting a couple of things that happened in the book and I loved the suspense of it all.
