I was beyond hyped for this book upon learning the authors of my favorite book from 2018 were coming out with their second novel!

The book most definitely draws you in and keeps you wanting more from the two main characters, whose chapters alternate between subject and psychiatrist. I loved the quick chapters, I'm always a big fan of those, they make me read more since I can finish them faster (I HATE stopping in the middle of a chapter because I can't finish for some unforeseen reason). There were lots of little twists and turns throughout which always kept me on my toes. BUT, having said all this, I was still not as big of a fan of this book compared with their debut novel. In their first novel, the twists were so big I had to literally go back and check what I read because I was in such disbelief. Its hard to live up to a book of that caliber.

With all that being said, I would still recommend this book to anyone who loves a good psychological thriller; its different and fun and a rather quick read if you have the time... (I did not.)
