I was a bit thrown off by the third person voice style of writing in some of the chapters. It stood out and didn't seem to fit, but it did add an extra weirdness to the book, which is maybe how it was supposed to come off. Odd and a little creepy. Once I got used to that, An Anonymous Girl was a quick read, but wasn't a very believable one. The therapists crossed all boundaries and the story line was too contrived. I like my thrillers to have twists and turns that you don't see coming, but everything was predictable in this book. You saw the bad guy's motive, how they were going to get there and who they were going to take down. While it may be a quick beach read, it won't keep you on your toes.
