I have certain expectations when I read a thriller/suspense novel. I really don’t ask for much😊 All I want is some chills and thrills. I also expect a thriller to be somewhat of a page-turner. Something I can burn through in one or two sittings. Something addictive and even something clever gets major bonus points from me. Wikipedia describes thrillers as “generally keep the audience on the edge of their seats as the plot builds towards a climax.”

Unfortunately, I did not get any of these things with An Anonymous Girl. I was just bored. The story was completely and utterly predictable. For the girl that loves Behind Her Eyes, this just didn’t work for me. It probably didn’t help that I was also reading No Exit at the time.

I know this worked for plenty and was even a BOTM selection for January so many readers will enjoy this book.
