As with this duo's previous book The Wife Between Us, you will make many assumptions when you read this book. And as with that book, many of those assumptions will be wrong.

Maybe all of them.

As is often the case with thrillers, you don't want to know too much more about this book than what is given in the synopsis. There are layers upon layers of deceit here, lies being kept from the reader and from the characters themselves. Who can be trusted? Is anyone who they really seem to be?

As secrets begin to come to the surface, all of our characters will find their livelihoods, their families, and their own lives at risk. The question is, who will be manipulative enough to get what they want?
