Overall I rated this book 3.5 stars.
I loved the first half or so of this book! So intriguing! Who is doing the study and why? What is the point? Where does the mystery factor in? Our main character, Jessica Farris, is like so many other broke people just looking for an easy way to make some extra cash. But if it sounds too good to be true it usually is!
The beginning was so intriguing with figuring out the purpose of the study and getting to know the characters. But it kind of dragged on about halfway thru the book, I almost didn’t care about finishing it. I also found Jess to be a bit annoying and unlikable which was proven true by the end of the book.
It was an ok read though overall.
