The book takes place when Jessica signs up for a study so that she can get paid. She starts the study and feels the questions are easy but then they start becoming more tailored to her life. She cant figure out how this is possible? She is asked to come in for a session with Dr. Shields and starts to become manipulated by her. Jess starts to feel really uncomfortable and starts to lose a sense of reality. The ending leaves you with your mouth hanging open...
I really enjoyed reading this book. I couldn't put it down. I kept wondering what was going to happen to Jess and how her and Dr Shields would become entangled in each others lives. It left me with the question would I sign up and do something for money and at what cost??
