An Anonymous Girl has it all. Murder, mystery, sex, desire, totally devious... I could go on. I love it when we, the readers, have no clue as to what is going on, putting us in the same boat as the main character.

Jess sneaks into a survey that seems like easy money for answering questions. Since money is very tight and partly related to her big secret, earning extra for easy work is a lifesaver to her. The only problem is that Dr Shields takes those survey answers and makes them a web around Jess.

Don't read on if you want to be surprised.

Thomas could be a good guy or could be part of the deviousness, but how can Jess tell? He warns her to get away from Dr Shields, but why is he so amorous with her if he doesn't trust her. What role did April play? A survey participant, a victim, an innocent party? Did Thomas have an affair with her? With Lauren?

I love the way the story makes the reader keep trying to work the facts to fit what appears to be the story... or not.

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s books for the chance to read this advance copy in exchange for an honest review.
