Y’all. This book! This book was hard to put down. I read it so quickly I was sad it was over!
It kept me guessing the whole time I was reading. I loved how it went back and fourth between characters to keep you engaged. It was also really creative how the authors carefully and slowly revealed more and more of the story through conversations between Jess and the Dr. Shields. It made me wonder if we could trust Dr. Shields or not.
The story is complex, and well written. I found myself connecting with the main character right away and found myself rooting for her.
She learns more and more about herself through the questions she answers for a scientific study— that’s becoming more than she anticipated.
