Good Partnership Tells A Good Story
When “An Anonymous Girl” is published in January readers should find it a great entertainment to counteract the inevitable post holiday letdown. Having previously enjoyed the first novel of the writing partnership of Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen “The Wife Between Us”, I can say that this second effort did not disappoint me.
The main characters as first introduced appear to be a financially disadvantaged young working woman, a wealthy married psychiatrist and academic, and her handsome somewhat morally compromised husband. Lurking in the background is a now deceased young woman who was apparently linked to the doctor in some way. From there the authors slowly play out the story to it’s satisfying conclusion.
