In the book An Anonymous Girl, Jessica Farris thinks that she’s hit the jackpot when she signs up for a paid psychology research study. The pay it offers for the amount of time needed seems like a total no-brainer, especially since she’s been scraping by on monthly payments with her makeup artist job. Upon Jessica completing her requirements, the psychiatrist in charge of the study, Dr. Shields, offers her another hefty amount of money if she will continue to participate in her research. Jessica jumps at this opportunity as well and can’t believe her luck. But, as she soon learns, her participation and the tasks being asked of her get more personal, and she can’t help but wonder what exactly Dr. Shields is collecting all of this research for…

This was another quick page-turner for me! The plot was very intriguing to me, and I honestly had no clue as to how the story would play out. The authors definitely throw some twists and turns your way to keep you guessing what will happen next. I also enjoyed learning the personal backstory of Jessica, and seeing how she developed as a character. Overall, I gladly give this book 5 stars and recommend it to anyone looking to read a fast-paced twisty thriller.
