This was a spur of the moment read.

Jessica is looking to make some extra cash, after all living in the city isn't cheap. She willingly joins Dr. Shields morality study, but things quickly take a turn. Is this money worth it? It seems as if Dr. Shields can read her mind, predicting her every move or is she just being directed and manipulated? Caught in Dr. Shields experiment can she escape before it's too late or does she have her hook in Jessica too deep for her to change her mind?

It peaked my interest because I have read the Author's previous novel. I did enjoy the read.

It easily kept my attention especially after Part One. I'd have to say that Part Two and Three were the best parts of the book.

Throughout the book I never formed a stable idea of what would be the "shock". I was thoroughly entertained by the novel though there was one exact instant in which I was left saying, "Wow!", What follows that? So I'd say that most of my questions were answered which is a welcome change for me.

The only issue I had with the book was the use of a Nut Allergy in a negative connotation instead of a learning fashion. Otherwise it was also well-written as I do think that the two authors work well together. I will read their new book to be released this year as well.
