There were a lot of things going on in this book. Too many things. One story line concerns the Murder-for-hire assassin and another concerns the leader of the "American Homemakers" and evil mortician. It wasn't until very close to the end of the book that their stories really converge. I felt it was really unbelievable and far-fetched, but I'm a glutton for punishment and the idea intrigued me, so I kept reading.
A lot of dark areas in this book - I don't recommend it if you're squeamish. Kim Loomis is a psychopath - I would not want to be a part of her 'homemaker club', no matter how clean her house, or how good her cleaning advice. This is a desperate housewives meets Dexter type Thriller with a whole lot of messed up characters!
