This was a terrifying and gruesome read. It gave me the chills but I still couldn't put it down. It was thrilling and kept readers on the edge of their seats. I thought it was really unique of the author to present a novel that showed the light and dark side of a person's mind. In the beginning, we saw a normal individual living a life that was portrayed as ordinary and then we see the darkness that comes with the consequences of the choices we make. I think this is a good read for readers that enjoy thrilling and haunting reads.
I would give this read 3.5 stars because it kept me engaged as a reader. I wish there was more character development but overall I thought it was a good read. I'm excited to read more from this author.
