Kim Loomis is the picture-perfect housewife. She knows how to do just about anything, and make sure that it is does in a way that would put even Marth Stewart to shame. Melody is a career assassin and doesn't question her work. If someone needs to die, there is always a price. What do these two have in common? The thirst for money and the will to do just about anything to get it.

While this book does content large doses of mystery, thrills, and murderous mayhem, it may take the reader awhile to actually get into reading it. The book constantly switches back and forth between groups of characters, which can make it difficult to keep track of who is who--there are just too many characters to keep track of, and it takes time to see how they all connect.

Once you figure out who is doing what, some of the characters end up much less believable than they were at the beginning. Kim, in particular, ends up more as a parody of herself than the homemaker/murderer that she strives to be. It's a decent read, but not something I would venture into twice.
