Long and Meandering
It took fooorrrrever for me to finish this. It stars off well peaking my interesting the homemaker who isn't what she seems and a female assassin with fashion sense.
The book malinger adding view points that weren't needed and plot points that drew away from the basic tale. The two characters mentioned before don't meet until the very end. I was not enjoying this ride and was disappointed by the end. The ending? it just ends with only some closure.
I did love seeing how much John Kaine loved horror and his loving allusion to other, classic works. My favorite of that Norman Loomis, a gorgeous Psycho mashup.
The idea for American Homemaker was engaging but it was too meandering for my tastes.
