First and foremost, this book was extremely gruesome. Like R-Rated, reading between the slits of your fingers, raunchy and gory. But it was good. After all, real murder isn't exactly rainbows and butterflies!

Our main character is sneaky and powerful and full of all the power a woman wants in life (the power over life? mwahhaha) It almost reminded me of a Dexter meets The Real Housewives and I totally dig that! Kim and her husband run a funeral home and when ends aren't meeting and people start scheming, American's homemaker starts to conspire and weave her own web.

The book is well written and moves at a fast pace so you are absolutely going to tear through the book at a very quick pace! There twists and turns and nail biting scenes that every good murder mystery thriller needs!
