What drew me in was the cover, the heel in a pool of blood is a good choice for a murder mystery. Beyond that, I could barely finish reading the First Impression just to get the sense of the story. Felt like the person wrote this had a marathon of Lifetime and Hallmark movies over the course of a weekend and choose to write a book. Doubtful I would pick up this book and read it, let alone finish it. Some books are not worth it.
