On one hand, I feel like this is definitely an interesting and unique plot. On the other, I'm not sure how much it appeals to my personal tastes. There was an interesting set-up to get the ball rolling, but it wasn't necessarily interesting enough to keep my interest in reading further. While it sounds interesting, I don't think its for me.
