Oh, boy! I had to read the blurb a few times to understand the book’s basic premise, which sounds outlandish and unbelievable. With that said, I don’t limit myself to novels heavy on realism, but I at least have to have a sense that what is happening in the book is plausible within the story’s own world. And I’m not even going to go into the issue of women characters being portrayed as overly petty and concerned almost exclusively with the domestic. The cover doesn’t draw me in either. I’m afraid this book is a “no” for me.
