Loved the cover it pulls you in . I loved this book right from the start . This book is based in my home state Alabama . I love the Southern charm this book is based on . It wasn't a page turner but it was a good book with nice sweet loving characters . Dolly and Si are taking in boarders to try to save their Alabama home which almost makes you feel like your actually there with them . Their boarders who come from different backgrounds find a home in their house until they can get back on their feet . Dolly and Si do all of this to try and raise money to pay their taxes . It shows all of the challenges they had to go through . It is just a sweet book looking back at how things were in the WWII.
