I have to say, the first peak into this book drew me right in. I felt right at home with how Dolly welcomed her guests, especially with the iced tea. I live in western NC right at the Tennessee and Georgia line so this reminds me so much of how it is here. I never knew until a few years ago that iced tea is mainly only a southern thing. My daughter went to California and tried ordering it in restaurants and McDonald’s. They didn’t serve it, and when she did find some, it was horrible. Anyway, I’m getting carried away. I can’t wait for the rest of this book so I’m using my points to claim it now. Hope it is mailed real soon. By the way, I’m not crazy about the cover. I wish it showed an old house like The Walton’s or something with maybe a lake or something.
