As I read the letter that opens the book, I was already in love with Daisy and can't wait to know her better as the story unfolds. Anyone with such a sweet relationship with her sister has to be a character to love!
Chapter One with the Williams couple on their way to AL has me feeling an affinity for them as I also come to the South from Chicago. A different era, but I'm sure there are some things that never change!
