This is not a genre I typically read, but the first chapter of Almost Home does introduce some interesting characters, Dolly, Anna and Jesse, and the 'horrible' Clanahans. It feels like there's a lot of potential for these characters and this story. I don't personally love the cover but it does match up with the title and the feel of the book.
