I can honestly say I'm a little sad that regular fiction of this time period isn't my preference in genre. The writing is so beautifully descriptive, you actually feel like your meeting Dolly in the Alabama heat. I'll be watching to see reviews of this after publication, already seeing quite a buzz about it.
