I should start by saying that I’m not a huge reader and when I do read, legal thrillers aren’t really my genre of choice. So I’m not likely to read this book, but then again, I’m not exactly the target audience.
What I will say, though, is that if I were to read legal thriller then this one would be a good option for me as it appears that it will have a unique supernateral element to it. It was hard to tell where it was going to go exactly, but it was intriguing. Especially the prologue.
Otherwise, the first couple of chapters introduced a number of interesting characters. I found the plot setup a bit hard to follow just casually reading, but I assume that it all would have clicked into place if I were to have read beyond what was available.
In summary, this book is likely not for me exactly, but I could see how it would be enjoyable for the right audience.
