The writing style isn't my thing, but I could not get past the first chapter and the false rape charge and the way the sex worker was characterized. It's beyond tone deaf in this day and age, it's actively harmful. It was horrifically misogynistic and the discussion of "poor English" was gross as well. I would never read this book.
