I adored this book. At first I thought it may seem superficial, but the story was anything but. Taking place in the finest area of Nashville, the novel follows a scandal from multiple angles. This gives perspectives from people of different ages and economic background. The way each character processes the severity of the events really lets you walk in their shoes and better understand their view, whether for the better or worse. The females have strength that gets developed. The various relationship dynamics hit such a realistic level the tension feels real. Exploring the ins and outs of overcoming the scandal and repairing the resulting relationship ailments makes such a great study in character value.
