Emily Giffin does it again. Her excellent prose capturing the intricacies of real life...parenting, relationships, friendships, life, families. Through the voices of multiple characters, Giffin looked at how one picture sent via text with a racial slur changed the trajectory of multiple lives and relationships in suburban Nashville. In the face of what should be the perfect life, the protagonist has to decide if the life she is living is congruent with who she actually is and who she wants her son to be. As Giffin always does, she makes you feel that you are in the life of the characters. With each book I read, I want to read more of her work. I cannot wait to see what Emily Giffin writes next.
