I live in a TN town about 30 miles away from where this story is based in. It was fascinating to read about landmarks that I’m well aware of and it was even further amazing to read about stereotypes that entirely exist in and around the Nashville area. Where you live and go to school at seem to define your “personality type”. Of course, it was exaggerated in the book, but it is true... not only in Nashville, but all over the South.

This book was one that evokes emotion, and I absolutely loved that! I couldn’t imagine how this would end or how I would feel in the end. This is a book about what’s right AND what’s wrong with the world today and what is justice, anyways? Without giving anything away, I kept wondering- would there ever be true justice in this particular situation, and if so- how?It was great and I love that my own sense of justice teetered back and forth the entire time.

I’m thrilled that I couldn’t predict the ending, for that prospect of a glorious ending is what had me gripped and not able to sleep until I finished the very last word! It was a brilliant story!
