I got this book at the library, but definitely must purchase for my personal library. This is now my favorite Emily Giffin book. If you’re expecting a “chick-lit” usual by Giffin, this is not for you! Emily dives into a more difficult subject matter surrounding the effects of social media, underage drinking, rape, i.e. I read this book in a straight seating with no pauses. You find yourself rooting for all the characters involved, even the bad ones, simply because you want to see a positive outcome for such a negative situation. I think this books sends a positive message into the world about self-love and self-worth. Sometimes people lose themselves by seeking negative affirmations, especially young girls. Overall, such a good read, especially if you have children!
