Realistic, gripping, engaging, addictive.
I love the writing style, it effortlessly pulls you in a hypnotic way so when you reach the last chapter, time stood still. This is a story that makes you think. Think about life choices, your own past, and what not to do in the future. I couldn't help but think this could be about me or anyone that I know.
The story varies from the first person to different point of views for other characters. That makes the book all the more relatable. I couldn't help but feel anxiety with the parents decisions.
I'm definitely buying this book and having my friends and family read along with me. This is a book you want to read in a group because you will want to talk about it long after finishing it.
