What a fantastic read! All I Ever Wanted is the story of a girl who is in the wrong place at the wrong time and struggles with the truth. She is too young and trusting of others to make good decisions but she is as lovable as they come! The chapters alternate between Lila, Tom, and Nina. Lila is the teenage daughter who is growing up way too fast. Tom is her father who has singlehandly raised her for many years after his wife deserted her family. Nina is the mother of Finch, who is the around this whole debacle that Lila is in revolves. The perspectives of each of these characters bring together the plot nicely! It would have been a much different story if it told from only one point of view. The ending was an unexpected one and tied everything together in a way that is so real!
