I am writing an unbiased review, but received a free copy. I won an early released copy of the book from the publisher, but did not receive until after the release of the book had already taken place.
When I received the book I immediately wanted to begin reading it. In fact, once I began reading, I finished book in 3 days. I found the author's writing style to be very creative. The chapters cycled between 3 characters perspectives of events transpiring. The transitions were seamless and I found myself feeling more invested in each of the characters with the way that the story was written. Nina, Tom, and Lyla are different but in some ways similar characters that handle the unthinkable tragedies of the story in remarkable ways.
