#SuckedInFromTheStart
Wow. This is my first introduction to Emily Giffin's writing, but after reading the provided ARC chapters, I'm a new fan! I love it when a story sucks you in from the start.
The first two chapters reveal alternating viewpoints. I had no trouble distinguishing who's POV I was reading, for Nina and Tom's chapters have a completely different feel to them.
Nina is unhappy and unfulfilled, and she expresses that without whining. I am drawn to her and sympathize with how her life has seemed to fade into a wealthy emptiness. Tom has a firm yet loving approach to parenting his teen daughter and I like him immediately after meeting him.
I really look forward to reading more of this story, as well as Ms. Giffin's other books!
