3.5 Stars - It has been several years since I’ve read an Emily Giffin novel. I used to love her books and have read them all except the last two. But maybe my reading tastes have changed or her books are no longer what they used to be.

In All We Ever Wanted, we learn about three very different people must choose between their family and their values. Giffin tried to tackle topics like privilege, social media, and racism. The book was a good read and dealt with a topic that’s timely, the dominance of social media and the #metoo movement. However, the story felt like an after school special and dragged on a bit too long as I found myself losing interest. I found myself skimming pages here and there just so I could finish.
