I have always read and loved all of Emily Giffin’s books. This one is no different. She manages to make a difficult and current topic, easy to read. Her writing style just flows and makes it a fast read.
This book covers teenage relationships and controversial topics such as the damage and consequences social media can create. Parents are forced to also evaluate their position both as parents and as spouses, which team will they be on?
The only thing that I didn’t love and hence one star shy of 5 is that the ending felt rushed to me. I would have wanted to read more about what happened in between. However overall it was a great book with relevant topics and relatable characters. Sometimes you have to pick what is hard even if it hurts.
