The cover made me want to dice into the beginning of this book. Emily has been tasked with going through church records at a church that is being threatened with demolition. Still mourning the death of her parents, she learns there is a connection between them and the church, which I feel is going to make her task that much harder. I am very interested in getting to the other part of the dual timeline that will connect the past to the present!
