The anticipation of this books first read was real for me. The books cover hooked me along with the blurb. I love historical fiction and add that to dueling story lines, I’m all in. That being said, the short 22 pages for the first read left me less than impressed. I think this story has a lot to offer but the first read lacked luster. I do plan to read this when released as I feel the addition of a second narrative will help immensely. Here’s to hoping!
