There are so many layers to this book and that's one of my favorite things to find. I love the dual time line. Although it can be confusing at times, it really keeps the reader interested because they're learning just enough about the mystery to keep them satisfied with the answers they're getting, but it also leaves a large majority of the questions not yet answered. revealing answers for the story to your main character and your audience at the same time is such a great way to tell the story because not only do you get connected more with the main character, but it also doesn't feel like you're getting a lot of information dumped on you.
