This was a really interesting excerpt. We see Emily struggling to deal with her parents' death 10 years earlier but we also get a glimpse into the fact that her project at the church will bring her parents' marriage into this as well. I'm definitely curious what the backstory is and how Emily will finally be able to face her grief.
