I wish we would have gotten a bit of a taste of the 1935 timeline, as I am not usually a reader of historical fiction and would have liked to get a feel for the writing style, but the story itself sounds pretty intriguing. I think the topic of grief will be explored well, and there will be conversation about how no matter how long ago an event occurred, you can still be feeling the aftereffects of it. I'm curious to see how these two timelines will overlap.
