I don't always read the descriptions of the books, but this time I did. After reading the description, I wasn't super excited but decided to give the First Look a read anyway. I am very glad that I did. Emily is frustrating and endearing all at the same time. She really made me go back and forth how I felt about her and the way she interacted with others. I also guess from the formatting that we are likely to get the perspective of others throughout the story. I am eager to see what other perspectives are included and how those perspectives shape the story!
