I’m going to preface this review by saying, please check trigger warnings for this book! There are several mentions of sexual and physical abuse that may be upsetting for some people.
All My Rage is a deeply profound and moving story about three main characters in a Pakistani community and their journeys. Misbah, who I struggling with illness and keeping her business running along with having an alcoholic husband, her son Sal, who also feels the pressure of keeping the motel running as well as trying to navigate high school as an outsider, and Noor Sal’s best friend who is an immigrant living with her uncle after her family was killed in an earthquake. Each of these three characters were so complex and wonderfully developed. Sabaa Tahir has such a beautiful and eloquent writing style and this story took my breath away, I highly recommend this book.
