Wow. I wasn't sure what to expect from Sabaa Tahirs new book given how different it was from her previous novels. I was immediately drawn in to the complicated relationships between Sal, Noor, & their families. There are quite a few sensitive subjects throughout the excerpt so be mindful & review the trigger warnings. I was devastated getting to the last page...I. NEED. TO READ. THE. REST. NOW!!!
