So, confession time: I've been meaning to read anything by Sabaa Tahir for longer than I would like to admit. When I spotted All My Rage pop up on BookishFirst, I knew that this was finally the kick in the butt I needed to give her writing a try. Even if it was only the sample (for now - buying All My Rage is not off the table!).

Before I begin my first impression, I just want to comment on an oddity I spotted on this cover. I don't think that I have ever seen a blurb actively integrated with the book cover before. On the one hand, I really love this concept. On the other, I feel like it is necessary to make the blurb such a focus. Clearly, I'm conflicted here.

The opening chapters of All My Rage immediately sucked me into the story. No really, they did! I'm already trying to think of where they will lead next, and how long I'm going to have to wait to find out. It's that good. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with these characters.
