I like the cover . . . except for the obnoxious blurb. Nothing against Jody Picoult, I just find blurbs, these "this book is awesome" quotes, to be annoying and distracting. And frankly, I think it does the opposite of what the publisher intends. The synopsis is intriguing. I like stories with diverse characters and this multi-generational story seems to provide a lot of context on the character's culture - parents born and raised in one country and their children born and raised in America. A great contrast. The excerpt drew me in and definitely made me want to read more.
