The first thing that intrigued me about this book was the setup of the chapters. I thought it was different to include multiple points of view from different locations and different times. I found it interesting and different.
Another thing that I always appreciate about books and definitely appreciated about this one was the use of proper cultural references. I always enjoy books where authors put an effort into including parts of themselves in the story.
The cover of the book was also really cool since it hinted at the way two world overlap in the story.
